We alway see great stuff posted in Stockton’s craigslist so me and Toni thought it be a good idea to see if there was any goods thrifting:

A: You smell that?
B: No. I cant smell too good.
A: Oh. Well there’s a lot of cow poop here.
B: Really where?
A: All of those mounds are poop.
B: WHAT? That’s a whole lotta crap!

We got off to a really slow start. The first thrift store we went to was pretty um weird. So we left quickly.

This poor guy woulda spruced up nicely. Unfortunately it was rather expensive at this thrift store so we passed on him.

I unno why but this reminds me of the hobbit.

Once upon a time when I was 16 Thrift town had this set at 99 cents a book. I bought three. This set was selling for 4 dollars a book. I shoulda swooped on them when I had the chance! They have oober cute illustrations and that great old book smell.

Delta Thrift store

I really love these things for their looks. But I have no idea how they work.

Real stoked on this chip and dip bowl.

I am not real sure what I am going to do with this portrait. I feel weird tossing it.

I <3 the old NBC logo.

Toni bought a coffee table. We had a hard time trying to fit it in the car. First we tried to take off the top but no tools. So I tried to find one in the thrift store but there wasnt any thing close to being able to help there. Tools must get swept on pretty fast.

Toni is a genius!

I liked this place a lot. Tons of goodies to be found.

Boo yah!

This thing was a really decent color.

I am not sure whether or not these are obnoxious or cute. Obnoxiously cute?

I’ve been picking up cross stitch kits here and there. I found out something gorgeous about my husband by doing so:
B: I dont know what any of these stitches mean!
A: (walks over. Stares) Oh that’s easy.
B: Excuse me?
A: Here. Just look it up on youtube.
A: (Takes supplies and starts sewing) Here see. Easy.
B: I dont understand instructional videos.
A: I’ll show you.
B: ah I see. I see. What about this stitch?
A: Like this. I’ll look it up just in case I am wrong.
B: Um. Did you uh use to cross stitch?
A: Yeah.
B: O.M.G O.M.G! Are you serious! AKDJSK.
(…..silence….)
B: Were you in a club too!?!
A: Once.
B: SAKJDAKSJDSK! How old were you?
A: 13. I didnt stay in the club for too long. I realized how lame it was.
(I went a little more crazy over this one. I cant imagine anything getting any better than that sentence above.)
B: I think you just made me the happiest lady ever. Not only did you cross stitch you were in a club. And it was when you were a teenager. While all the other boys were being lame hitting on chicks you were busy being awesome cross stitching landscapes. Then you quit because you realized it was nerdy. Man that’s great. We are like soul mates right now riding that soul mate train all the way to awesomeville.
A: It’s not that big of a deal.

Superior Thrift was fantastic. I wish we woulda had more time to look around here.

Hello old man office chair. Hello shadow.

Ice crusher.

This bean was in pretty good shape!

I bought this thing for future traveling.

I was torn with this dude. It had a really sweet handle and woulda been perfect for the feeding of our plants.

I love the designs that were put on thermos.
Best find of that day:

(Yeah we don’t eat much veggies and fruit). I’ve been looking for one of these things for a pretty long time. Really stoked that I got one in material and color that goes pretty well with what I got going on in our kitchen. All in all Stockton was a pretty great place to find some furniture scattered about. I would suggest for anyone looking for some really decent-cheap prices to head out there.

lots of great stuff!! I need to go on some of these excursions some time!
Ikea Stockholm coffee table. I like.
Wow good eye!

future future? I’m down with that.
For you uninformed city slickers..those ‘mounds’ are not cow poop.. they are silo bags!

Haha. We thought they were poo mounds because of the overwhelming cow smell.
