Craigslist: HE’S BACK!

1 Oct

Everybody’s favorite seller of these “jetson age chairs” has a new listing up – but surprisingly doesn’t have an entire ridiculous description of how said item would look aboard the Starship Enterprise. Also this TV could actually be a great display piece – you know, if you have your mock “living room” that nobody goes into and is basically a museum that people aren’t allowed to touch. Lest a nun come out of the walls and slap your wrists. What? INCOMING CAPSLOCK!
I HAVE A RARE TWO TONE VINTAGE TV IN VERY NICE ORIGINAL CONDITION. THE MAKE IS ADMIRAL PICTURE LIGHTS UP BUT IS SNOWY COULD BE A RECPTION ISSUE I AM NOT VERSED IN THIS SO THAT IS JUST A GUESS SOUND WORKS FINE BODY HJAS ORIGINAL PAINT THIS WOULD BE GREAT FOR A DISPLAY PIECE IN YOUR MID CENTURY DECOR SOLD AS IS 510-333-3650 days (Original Post)

Once again our dear seller has not listed the price of the item. Being as he is possibly insane – this could work for or against us.

If you have.. THIS living room. Just tuck it away next to that plant back there..

Is the point of this blog to insult every craigslist ad you are jealous of?

I’m not quite sure what you mean! I definitely poke fun at this seller for his previous wacky items and descriptions. For the most part the blog is celebrating our craigslist/antique mall finds, and sharing them with others in hopes that maybe they’ll purchase them for themselves!

It’s also just a place for a midcentury, “retro”…vintage enthusiast to check out what’s on craigslist daily(or any other site selling great stuff). Kinda try and make it easier for people to know what’s out there. Especially in regards to craigslist-it can get really tiresome trying to look through all those posts.

I find Mimomito very humorous and I can relate to a lot of the things they write about. I actually became extremely interested in this blog because of their “DO NOT WANT” list.

When you frequent Craigslist as often as we do, it can be very annoying to have repeated posts of the same item, especially when the descriptions or keywords are misleading. I don’t think they’re jealous at all, I just think they speak the truth!
