Serene’s 2-bedroom apartment in Southside Park was featured in the Homes, Sweet Homes feature of Mimomito. rose della rosaRose Della Rosa has an eye for design and interiors – with a 1970’s flavor. Rose’s furniture finds are incredibly eclectic, and will usually have a few Native American themed items that reflect her heritage. Rose’s personal tumblr ( is a good synopsis of her style and love of Persian cats. Rose and her husband, renowned Sacramento Graphic Designer Benjamin Della Rosa often collaborate on illustration and silkscreen projects for their company Della Rosa Home & Prints. Ben and Rose sell these items and some hand-picked collectibles in Scout Living Antique Collective. See Ben and Rose’s 1-bedroom apartment Homes, Sweet Homes feature here. This is GENIUS. I did the same thing–clutter up my friend’s FB page with CL photos–though I stopped shy of building my own website to do so.

I’m off to the friend’s FB page to notify her of your wunderbahr site!

Keep up the good scouring work!

Thanks Nancy! We are excited to meet new people who enjoy finding sweet deals and furniture fabtabuluuuuzness <-that's a made up word. Building the website was a kind of a kind elbow nudge from our friends who were probably tired of us fogging up all of FB with danish sweets and teak dreams.

    Hi Serene,

I am up for the monumental task of refurbishing those HW pieces but I live in SF and don’t know of the antique mall you refer to. Can you help a sister out? I can’t wait to get my hands on those poor things.

Megan — are you referring to a heywood wakefield restoration?
